On January 28, 2021, we celebrated our 100th day of school and this year there was reason to celebrate! I did many activities and read many books to the kindergartners about the number 100. They had fun while learning, which is one of those tricks that teachers have up their sleeve!
They counted 100 pennies on the 100 chart. Later they
counted by 5s and 10s to 100.
We assembled 100 piece puzzles during centers.
They loved this activity of rolling the dice and coloring in
the pennies. Whoever got their 100 pennies colored in
first was the winner!
At another center, they designed the cover of their 100
day booklet.
These girls are wearing their headband they designed for
the 100th day of school. They proudly wore it to lunch.
Their 100 day booklets looked fantastic!
We had yummy cupcakes for dessert.
These 100 chart puzzles were tricky, but they figured
them out after some "think" time.
Ta-da!
